Heated dog bed, a good idea?
Hello, My Pit Bull Millie cold easily. This is his first winter with me. I rescued ago 8 months, and I've already bought her a fleece dog coat, winter jacket, and a dog sweater for the cold weather. However, I have a nice bed for her bagel, and see sometims shivering in the night, so now I put a nice fuzzy blanket over her, and she really loves him. So now every night before going to bed that goes the bed and put the blanket. I was thinking like a dog bed warm. I know nothing about hot dog beds. So I have some questions: Do you recommened a bed of hot dog? Does your dog like your hot dog bed? What is the best hot dog bed can be obtained? Do you have other tips on keeping your hot dog in the cold winter? My dog lives inside my house with me (just so nobody asks me that question) You get 2 hours of excersize a day, and several outlets for all day to go to the bathroom.
I know someone who has a hot dog bed is excellent, I'm sorry, I do not know the brand. It stays connected all the time, but it has a transformer to bed, only getting 12 volts and not heated until the weight on it so it's not hot all the time. It has a removable washable cover, to then that is a very well-sealed plastic cover so there is very little danger in case of spills or accidents. I do not remember the price but I was surprised how cheap was. If your dog is easily chilled, she'll love you.
