I have a jack russel 1 year old that just will not go to the bathroom in her fenced area for dogs. What can I do?

He is an escape artist by I have to put in this race, which has escaped all other methods of containment. Going to the bathroom in his head, but can escape off when not watching it constantly. I have a small child, so can not always walk the dog when he has to go to the bathroom but walks regularly and make the two work on a walk. Any suggestions?

If he needs to go will go with time. Sounds like you're doing what they can with a new baby. You may want to invest in a safer place, an advantage of slip that does not allow escape. BTW: I too am a new mom. Snugli and slings are great. Babies love and free your hands.
