bald-legged dog … allergy or foot problem?

I have a 3 year old Scottie and his hind legs / toes naked, and its forelegs are getting that way .. constantly licks. He has allergies summer, but this is the first year this has happened. I've tried everything you can imagine … socks, Neosporin, lotions, baths, the collar of his head, but still seems irritated. Gel and also Benadryl allergy tablets when they are generally very bad. I wonder Could it be something like a foot fungus? He is in regular flea / tick med, so it is not fleas. Any advice is appreciated!

It could be anybody, but if it is on all fours and licks them, it is probably allergies. Have you recently changed foods? Corn, wheat and soybeans and the allergens very common in dogs. Check the dog food label because most "supermarket" brands contain. Also, some dogs are allergic to common meats such as chicken or beef, but this is rare. You can always try a food for dogs with more exotic meats such as duck or lamb. Stay away from Iams, Science Diet, Eukanuba, and other evil that brands with lots of padding. Try something like welfare, or a mixture of fresh Artemis, or Innova.
