dog training collars?
I have two dogs, a chi-pom and pom pom chi-gets very jealous and upset when we do not pay attention to her and she has recently begun to bite the corners of the wall, at first we did not realize, but now its out of control. Because my pom is doing now does. Precisely today I found they have begun to bite and scratch a hole in the wall. Both are under 6 lbs. and I want to use a shock collar training on them to stop. Any other suggestions???
do not use a shock collar on them. that are too small. off your ass and say no. say that a company but not or shouting angry tone. then make them sit. this is poor in general behave and shocking to stop at the wall would stop, but do not stop what is causing the behave. need to let them know that they are responsible, but their actions, not just pushing a button. take a training class and this will help you bond with them and give them confidence (which help with jealousy) and teach them to be respected and heard. the trainer will be able to help with the wall of mastication. if only account the hole in the wall of the shock collar will not work anyway because they do not see them doing. get a box for them when you can not directly observe, but not leave them there all the time. that keep them from destroying things when you are gone. generally behave like this is because dogs are not getting enough exercise. take them walk at least twice a day. well exercised dog will not have the energy of a hole in the wall. which is a feat for a 6-pound dog. be consistent and firm. What is the consequence for bad behavior today is the same all the time. consistency will receive his neck further than any shock. find a class of training suits yours and your dog needs and stick with it. good luck.
