Can one, or BUDGIE CANARY FINCH be housed in the same cage?
I have a male parakeet. If the new bird in quarantine, and introduced properly, is a canary or a finch to get along with him in the same cage? If not, well parakeets, what is a bird that gets along well with parakeets in same cage? (What I mean is WITH a finch parakeet or a parakeet with a canary. It's not a canary in a finch, etc)
They will be fine together if in separate cages. I do not think it would be a good idea to keep them in the same cage. A parakeet is larger than the finch and if they were to get some time in a fight of some kind, the parakeet can do enough damage. But otherwise I think it would be great together. I would like to have them in separate cages. If you do not want your parrot to be alone, you can try to get another parakeet male [, unless you want babies xD] and clean the cage out and rearrange it so it will not be domanice issues.
